Ich wollte mir Windows 7 - 64 Bit installieren, aber ein Freund meinte, dass ich dazu unbedingt eine Dual Core CPU haben muss und dass man auf einen Computer mit Single Core kein Windows 7 64 Bit installieren kann. Stimmt das so? Oder gibt es auch 64 Bit Single core CPUs? Wenn ja, welche?

Es gibt auch 64 Bit fähige Single Core CPUs. Aber Du sagtest ja nicht, was Du für eine CPU hast. Und außerdem bedenke: für Windows 7 64 Bit solltest Du wenigstens 4 GB Arbeitsspeicher habe, besser mehr, sonst läuft das 64 Bit Windows langsamer als die 32 Bit Version.
